Base Overview
This TH11 home base is built to stop the most common attacks you’ll face—Electro Dragon (EDrag), Witch/Bowler, and Hybrid (Valkyrie + Bowler + Golems). It keeps your Town Hall, Eagle Artillery, Clan Castle, Inferno Towers, and X-Bows safe using strong compartmentalization, smart trap placement, and overlapping ranges from key defenses. Whether you’re farming Dark Elixir or climbing the trophy ladder, this base gives you solid protection without sacrificing loot security.
Defense Strategy Explained
Your base is split into 4–5 compact compartments. This forces attackers to use more spells and time just to break through walls. The core of your base—where the Town Hall and Eagle Artillery sit—is surrounded by your strongest splash damage defenses: the Inferno Towers (set to multi-mode) and X-Bows (ground + air mode).
- Town Hall: Placed dead center. It’s your strongest building at TH11 with 3,500 HP and its own splash damage. Keeping it in the middle slows down 3-star attempts.
- Eagle Artillery: Also in the core, protected by nearby defenses. It activates late but hits hard—so you don’t want it taken out early by sappers or Bowlers.
- Clan Castle: Central, near the Town Hall. This ensures your reinforcements (like Witches or Minions) join the fight quickly and support multiple defenses.
- Inferno Towers: One on each side of the core (multi-mode). Perfect against tanky troops like Golems, Lava Hounds, or Electro Dragons.
- X-Bows: Positioned opposite each other near the core edges. Set to cover both ground and air to counter sneaky Minion or Balloon attacks, and stop Bowlers from flanking.
Trap Placement Tips
- Giant Bombs: Place them near your Eagle Artillery and behind key splash defenses. They’re deadly against groups of Bowlers or Witches.
- Bombs: Spread around non-core compartments, especially near storages and collectors. They help slow early ground pushes.
- Air Mines: Cluster them near your Air Defenses and X-Bows. Great against Minion or Lava Loon swarms.
- Seeking Air Mines: Hide two near your Inferno Towers or Eagle Artillery. One near the Town Hall helps stop sneaky Electro Dragons or Lava Hounds aiming for core kills.
Avoid placing traps predictably—leave some open spaces to fool attackers into thinking a spot is safe.
Pros & Cons
✅ Pros
- Strong against 3-star meta attacks (EDrag, Witch/Bowler, Hybrid)
- Excellent resource protection—Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir storages are tucked deep
- Great for both farming and trophy pushing
- Clan Castle is hard to lure fully
❌ Cons
- Can be vulnerable to well-timed Queen Walks if traps aren’t placed smartly
- Might take a few attempts to perfect wall layouts for maximum compartment strength
FAQ
Q: Should I use single or multi-mode on Inferno Towers?
A: Use multi-mode. At TH11, you’ll mostly face groups of medium-health troops (Witches, Valkyries, Bowlers), not single massive tanks.
Q: Where should I upgrade first—defenses or walls?
A: Prioritize Air Defenses, Inferno Towers, and Eagle Artillery. Once those are maxed, focus on Walls (especially inner layers).
Q: Is this base good for Clan Wars?
A: Yes! Its compact core and overlapping ranges make it tough to 3-star, even in war conditions.
Q: How do I protect against Queen Walks?
A: Hide a Giant Bomb near your Eagle or Town Hall, and make sure your Clan Castle isn’t too easy to pull. Also, keep your Queen away from the edge in your attack setups!
Q: Can I adjust this base for more farming focus?
A: Absolutely. Just move your Gold and Elixir Storages slightly inward if you’re losing too much loot—but keep Dark Elixir Storage in the core.
